Victor

Married his beloved Margaret they traveled far,

To the Isle of Man on a Lambretta, not in motor car!

An unassuming man, no great ambition no wanton greed.

A family man of quiet need.

A Husband a Father he provided well,

with four sons his life can tell.

Years rolled by and when retired,

comfortably enjoyed his most desired     -    Bowls!

Those sunny days on the green

dressed all in whites; a proud sight to be seen,

He rivaled his Wife on that,

"She's better than me, if only it were Whites and a cricket bat" ,      he said.

He loved knowledge and embraced all manner of things,

He was blessed with 6 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and all that it brings.

The happy times, the sad times, the laughter and the tears,

escaping with the sounds of James Last through the years.

His life curtailed through a stroke he mustered on and coped in silent grief,

never revealing the frustration he felt underneath.

And finally released on the 15th May with added symptoms to the pile

he still managed his saying "wake up England and gave a feint smile.

Fondly remembered

Much Loved

& Sadly missed.

(The man with a smile and wave at the door, greatly missed and seen no more)
